I grew up in the Northwest with the legend of Bigfoot or Sasquatch. Tall, dark, dense woods and steep isolated mountains are the norms.
In 1972 while in grade school we had someone come to school with actual Bigfoot castings, show a movie taken of Bigfoot and give a memorable presentation. It made a lasting impression and made a kid keep an eye out when he was in the woods or down at the river because you just never knew....
Last year I heard someone say Sasquatch has always been the ultimate champion of social distancing. At the time we were flat shut down like many others last year. While hanging out in our closed shop we had just moved into a few months before we decided to make some Bigfoot hats and tumblers to see if we could pay the rent. That did help and we continue to love our big old Squatch!
Join us in a journey of whimsey and help a small business continue to pay the rent!
We are a small company. I use the term we in the Royal Fashion. Mostly it's just me, and Kirby. I'll let you guess who is who. If its daylight I have a hat on. When I started seeing Leather Patch Hats I thought they were cool. Having most of the equipment I ordered the last tools I needed, made a 4 hour round trip to Spokane and bought my first piece of Leather.
I love the different hats I have to wear as a small business owner. I started my business a few years ago to make stuff I thought was cool. Turns out other people thought they were cool as well. I love the whole process and having the ability to take an idea, research what it takes to make it a reality and then screw it up enough times to finally get it right.
